Most of the time (especially when you rent) bathrooms aren’t the most prettiest rooms of your home. In most rental apartments you have ugly basic tiles on the wall so you can’t change the color of the wall (or the tiles). But that does not mean you can’t make your bathroom look nice and cosy. Here are three tips to pimp your bathroom.
You can get wall stickers at a lot of places but besides the normal stickers (for on a normal wall) you also have stickers for on tiles. They have standard square measurements and they fit most bathroom tiles. You can get them in a lot of different designs. I got mine at Xenos. They are very easy to put on to your wall and give your bathroom an instant upgrade.
If you have a big bathroom you could put real plants in it, but for most plants a bathroom is too humid. I bought three strands of fake flowers at Action (they costed me about 9 euros all togheter!) and I put two around the pipes near my ceiling and one in the corner (at the floor it goes behind the pipe from my toilet but you don’t see that pipe very well so it looks like it stands on its own). Because the stems are very flexible you can put them around anything you want. I think they make my bathroom look a little bit more sophisticated and cosy at the same time.
Last but not least, candles! If you have a little wall or some other place you can put them buy some in the colors of your towels and burn them when you take a bath or shower.
