This is one of my favorite recipes for when I don’t have a whole lot of time. Or if I don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen. It’s pretty healthy, very tasty and fast. Did you know that a paprika contains more Vitamin C (per 100 gram) than a kiwi or orange? For this recipe I used three colors, but if you only want to use one color you should choose red or yellow. They contain twice as much Vitamin C as a green paprika.
Ingredients for 3 persons
Multigrain rice (for 2-3 persons I use one of those cups you use with your senseo and fill it up)
250-300gr minced (beef) meat
You want to start by preparing the rice according to the instructions on the package, since this will take the longest. Once the rice is boiling cut the paprikas in small pieces. Heat up some oil in the wok and put the meat in it with a little bit of meat spice. When the meat is almost done add the paprikas and the cajun herbs (to taste). I like it to be pretty spicy so I add a lot of cajun herbs. Don’t forget to stir from time to time. When the rice is done, add this to the wok, give everything one last stir and dinner is ready.
