The weather has been amazing over the last few days! Instead of sitting at home behind my computer I decided to go out and enjoy the sun. Yesterday I could even go outside bare legged, what a great feeling! And today I was able to wear open shoes again, yay. Although I have a fever at the moment, for the first time in all those years that we have known each other my boyfriend was ill this weekend (including a fever), this weather makes me a very happy girl. The weather is supposed to stay like this for the rest of the week, so that’s great. With this weather comes an itch. An itch to make salads, a big amount of gazpacho and summer drinks. This bananaraspberry smoothie is one of my favorites at the moment, because I always have the ingredients in my fridge.
Ingredients bananaraspberry smoothie
For 2 persons
200 ml (lactosefree) milk
1big hand of frozen raspberries
Add the banana and milk to your blender and blend them. Add the raspberries and blend your smoothie until it is smooth. If you don’t have a blender (like me) you can also use a big measuring cup and a handmixer. Put the smoothie in 2 nice glasses, at a straw and finish with one or two frozen raspberries on top of the smoothie. Because the smoothie was made with frozen raspberries it will be cold and refreshing.
How to make a lactosefree smoothie: For this bananaraspberry smoothie I used lactosefree milk (from Lidl). You can also use soy-, rice-, coco- or nutmilk, whatever has your preference.
